BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) is a Level 5 qualification which is equivalent to the second year of a UK Honours Degree. BTEC HND is recognized by universities with direct entry to the Final Year of the Degree. This programme is a three-year programme offered.
It is a multi-disciplinary programme, and you should select your special stream orientation from among the following areas: Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, Information Technology and Data Science.

On the successful completion of two years BTEC HND, students will be able to progress to the Final Year of the BSc (Hons) Computer Science and IT Degrees
Those who have completed G.C.E. A/L examination in with three passes.
Those who have completed a Diploma Level Program from a recognized institution.
Those who have successfully completed Ordinary Level qualifications with a minimum of 05 years of professional experience in a related field.
Any other equivalent qualification acceptable by the Senate.
